Kissan Credit Card (KCC)

Objective: To provide adequate & timely credit to farmers / breeders under single window with flexible & simplified procedure

Short term credit limit

To meet the short term credit requirements as working Capital for maintenance of Farm assets & activities like feeding, healthcare of Sheep & Goat.

Eligibility: All individual breeders /joint borrowers possessing Sheep / Goat units.

Maximum Credit limit: 3.00 lacs

Maximum permissible limit: 05 years

Scale of finance: Rs 70000/= for 25 Sheep / Goat.

Mortgage/ Security : 1.60 lacs not required

Rate of interest: For Short term loans upto lacs 7% P.A

Interest subvention @ 2% by Government of India

Special Interest: Additional interest 3% P.A to prompt pay breeders repaying within one year of Disbursement.
