DDC Pulwama finalized the arrangements for Rashteriya Ekta Dewas

Pulwama 25 October 2019:Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Dr Ragav Langer convened a meeting to  finalize the  arrangements for celebration of Ekta Divas here today.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohd Ashraf Hakak ,Chief  Education officer , Additional SP Pulwama/Awantipora , besides officers of Youth Services and Sports  and other concerned.

During meeting threadbare discussions were held regarding the arrangements put in place for the celebration of Rashteriya Ekta Dewas  . It was informed that Civil and Police personnel  are participating in the marathon (Run for Unity) being organized by District Administration in collaboration with Youth Services and Sports. It was also said that common people of the district can also participate in Run for unity after registering themselves with the Department of Youth  services and Sports.

DDC  exhorted upon the officers to put in place all necessary arrangements in time for smooth celebration of Ekta Divas. He directed Health department to setup adequate medical facility  with proper staff, ambulance and Medicare facilities at the respective venue. PHE department was directed to make special arrangements of drinking water facility at different places on road and at   the venue. Meanwhile officials of Municipal Corporation were directed to maintain cleanliness in and around District Police line and road .
