DDC reviews Health sector in Pulwama
Pulwama 31 Oct 2019: District Development Commissioner, Pulwama Dr Raghav Langar today chaired a meeting to review the healthcare facilities being extended to patients ,availability of doctors , paramedical staff ,sanitation condition, stock position of medicines and other equipments in the health institutions of the District.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ashraf Hakak , Joint Director Planning , CMO Dr. Hasina Mir , Medical Superintendent District Hospital, Principal GNM School, BMOs of besides concerned officers and officials of health department.
A threadbare discussion was held on various issues like the physical status of projects, financial implications, Healthcare achievements, Patient care, FW and Immunization, Status of Bio medical waste and other related issues.
On the occasion, BMOs projected various demands and issues regarding Staff dearth, lack of medical equipments and other related issues
Speaking on the occasion, DDC said that District Hospital has been accredited as one of the best health institutions in the state and our endeavor should led it to new heights in future also. DDC urged upon health functionaries to ensure better healthcare facilities to the patients and come up to the expectations of the patients and enjoined upon the BMOs to focus on quality assurance, accessible affordable health care so that satisfaction level among the users of Govt health facilities is enhanced and people repose faith in public health. He also directs CMO to inspect the USG centers periodically through District Level task Force committee. DDC also assured that the genuine demands raised during the meeting will be take off with concerned departments, so that patient care doesn’t suffer in health Institutions.
