DDC reviews progress on district CAPEX budget
Stressed for building assets in social and health sectors.
Pulwama , Nov 5 : District Developmental Commissioner Pulwama ,Dr Raghav langer today chaired a meeting to review progress made on various development works under CAPEX Budget (2019-20), besides implementation of centrally sponsored schemes in the district.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning , Executive Engineers of PWD, PHE, PDD, CEO, DFO, EO and other district officers.
The DDC reviewed physical and financial achievements in detail being recorded by the Education, PWD, PHE, PDD, RDD, Health, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Forest, Agriculture, Horticulture and other departments under district plan and CSSs.
The meeting was informed that under district CAPEX budget 2019-20 an amount of Rs.5501.69 crores have been made available and 4340.96 crores has been expended till ending Oct. 2019 under various schemes/ developmental projects underway through different executing agencies. It was said that in agriculture and allied sector an amount of 120.31 under regular schemes was approved wherein an amount of 63.60 crores were released and an amount of 11.28 was expended till ending Oct 2019.
Similarly, in Elementary Education, SSA, Secondary Education, RMSA, Youth Services And Sports, Health, PHE, Urban Development, Nutrition and Midday meals an amount of 413.76 crores have been released in which an amount of 280.34 crores have been expended till ending Oct 2019.
On the occasion, DDC directed the officers and executing agencies to ensure completion of all works including languishing projects within stipulated time frame and asked concerned officers to monitor the attendance of sub ordinate staff and field functionaries so that office and field work don’t be suffer during working days. He also stressed for regular field visits to ensure works are executed on time and under set quality parameters.
