DDC reviews Eid-e-Milad- arrangements at Pulwama

Pulwama ,5 Nov 2019:District Development Commissioner Pulwama,Dr Raghav Langer  today chaired a meeting of officers to review arrangements put in place for the celebrations of the Eid- e-Milad- un- Nabi (SAW).

The DDC reviewed the availability of essential commodities including rice, atta, kerosene and matters related to Power ,Drinking Water and transport arrangements.

The DDC directed the PDD and the PHE to ensure uninterrupted power and water during the entire period of Eid-e-Milad celebrations .Executive Officer Municipality was directed to ensure proper cleanliness and sanitation in and around shrines and mosques. The traffic authorities were asked to ensure hassle free traffic movement during  holy days

   He directed the concerned officers for conducting market checks to curb profiteering and other illegal trade practices.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, CMO, Executive Engineers of R&B, PDD,PHE, EO Muncipal committees  and Other concerned officers
