Achieve B2V targets through scientific action plan and tracking mechanism: DDC Pulwama
Pulwama , NOVEMBER 20: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer today chaired a meeting to review the preparations for the initiation of forthcoming 2nd phase of ‘Back to Village’ programme scheduled to be held from 25th of November to 30th November.
ADC Pulwama, Awantipora, Tral , ACR, heads of various departments, Tehsildars, district and sectoral officers and other concerned authorities were present in the meeting.
During meeting, DDC took a detailed review of the identified works and demands raised by the people during first phase of ambitious ‘Back to Village’ programme and also took stock of implementation of various developmental activities started after Ist phase of the programme.
He directed different departments to launch intensive IEC campaigns at Panchayat levels in making the Back to Village phase 2nd a movement . He directed the officers to work in synergy and coordination so that the visiting officers are facilitated in addressing the issues and grievances appropriately. He stressed upon introducing novelties and adopting best practices in making the back to Village phase 2nd a success. He directed the Nodal Department and Administrators to formulate an action plan and tracking mechanism for achieving tangible targets in B2V phase 2nd. DDC also added that the demands projected at Panchayat Halqas should be classified on nature of the work. He also directed the officers to sensitize the people about the various flagship programmes like swatchta hi sewa, Ayushman Bharat etc District Sports officer was directed to formulate a plan for organising sports events across the district during same period .
