DDC Pulwama bans sale of tobacco products near health, educational institutions

PULWAMA, DECEMBER 6: District Administration Pulwama has declared all Govt premises including school, hospitals, offices No Tobacco /No Smoking Zones in the district.

In this regard an order was today issued by District Development Commissioner Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer.

The order reads that disciplinary action as warranted under rules shall be initiated against the offenders.

DDC has directed all heads of the departments to enforce the ban with immediate effect, it adds.

The order also bans sale of tobacco products within the radius of 100 yards of health and education institutions
