DDC visits Achan& Lassipora, inspected protection Bunds and Mining portion of Rambia Ara.

Pulwama 17 Dec 2019 :District Development Commissioner Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer today visited Achan and Lassipora where he inspected protection bunds and Mining portion of Nallah Rambia Ara here today.

While taking cognizance of illegal mining in the area DDC stressed on taking effective measures to detect and prevent illegal mining. He directed concerned officers for installation of check posts and strictly dealt against violators so that illegal mining in the area can be completely curbed.

DDC also visited Jagarnath Mandir  and directed for the beautification of Park and renovation of the spring  there.

On the occasion, locals apprised the DDC about various issues faced by the people of area.

DDC also visited the Khan Basti SIDCO Lassipora and inspected the huge quantum of state land there. He directed Tehsildar Litter for demarcation of state land in order to prevent encroachments. He also appealed locals to get their illegal encroachments removed from State lands

Earlier, DDC carried out a surprise inspection of BDO Office Lassipora and Tehsil Office Litter where he checked the attendance of employees . He said there will be zero tolerance against the dereliction of duty by employees.
