DC Pulwama Declared Open Kabadi Rolling Trophy.

Pulwama 8 Feb 2020:Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer in presence of Principal Government Degree College today declared open Kabadi Rolling Trophy organised by Department of Higher Education at Govt Degree College Pulwama.

The first match of the trophy was played between GDC Shopian and GDC Pulwama.
The  Trophy  will continue till 17 February , 2020,  and  will witness competition in Kabadi Matches  between the teams from different colleges.

On the occasion DDC  hailed the efforts of  organizers for organising such  events which  provide an opportunities  to the students to showcase their talent and channelize their energy in a positive way.

He said such events are  vital in imbibing a sense   of   sportsmanship, leadership, team spirit and discipline  among the students.  He added that Sports is emerging as a career in present times and motivated the participants to follow the trend.

Besides, employees of the physical education & Sports, staff members, large no of students were present on the occasion.
