First Intra- District Video Conferencing System started in Pulwama

Initiative under e- Governance would connect public with govt institutions: DDC Pulwama.

PULWAMA 12 Feb. 20: In a first of its kind , District administration Pulwama launched an Intra- district video conferencing system in the district here today.

Terming the initiative as an important step towards good governance DDC said that the  system will help in better monitoring ,supervision  of public offices located at distant places. He said that this would be  a leap towards good governance and  speedy redressal of public grievances . He enjoined upon the district officers to avail the facility for intra -departmental coordination as well as interdepartmental one. He said it would also minimize the communication gap between Sub District and district level officers.He  hailed the efforts of NIC  Pulwama for making the conferencing possible without glitches.

Later, DDC  also chaired a   meeting with the officers of various departments to review the progress of works pertaining to their departments.
