People overwhelmed over the Doorstep services provided by the District Administration.
Pulwama 28 Nov 2019: On the 4th consecutive day of B2V2 District Development Commissioner Dr Raghav Langer along with Assisstant Commissioner Development visited Newa where he inaugurated up gradation of Water Supply scheme Bulbul Nag and also planted some saplings of Deodar here today .
He also attended the GramSabha here at BDO office where people of various villages belonging to different Panchayat halqas apprised the DDC about various demands raised during B2V1 which are yet to be takenup and present issues faced by them.
The people of Parigam demanded the development of play ground ,repairment of interior roads and Higher Secondary for Girl students of the area . A delegation of Hakripora raised the issue of inadequate water supply and widening and cutting of trees along roadsides.
Similarly residents of Lonepora ,Nowpopora Nowgam ,Karimabad and Newa demanded portable Tap water,borewells,footbridge ,Protection bund on Nallah Romshi ,Upgradation of HT and LT lines .
DDC gave patient hearing to the issues and demands raised by the people and assured that genuine issues will be taken for early redressal. He instructed officials of concerned departments to followup all identified works under B2V1 for early completion.
Director Tourism Kashmir Nisar Ahmad Wani visited Panchayat Halqa Pahoo, Kisergam and laid foundation of Community sanitary complex Near play ground Kisergam. He also inspected ongoing developmental works in the area . Assistant Director Forests R K Raina visited Panchayat Halqa Noorpora Tral and inaugurated construction of two lanes at Pandith Mohla and dredging of Bunder Kul. Director General Planning/Dev.Deptt. J&K, S. Bilal Ahmad inaugurated playfield in Panchayat halqa Konibal . Director Rural Development Department toured Meej where he laid foundation stone for CSC complex and disturbed baby kits under BBBP scheme among new born girl child mothers. General Manager DIC S .Jalil laid foundation of Drain near flood Channel at Padgampora .
.Meanwhile Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, Additional Commissioner Tax Deptt, J&K attended the GramSabha at Panchayat Halqa Kadalbal , Director Higher Education , G.M Ganie attended the GramSabha at Achan Block Litter and Ghulam Dastegeer Alam, Under Secretary Finance Deptt .attended Gram Sabha at Patal Bagh on 2nd Day.
Fourthday of B2V2 saw an overwhelming participation of people in 61 Gram Sabah’s in 11 blocks of the district where locals interacted with the visiting officers and put forth their demands and issues before them and demanded early redressal of grievances.
