B2V2 Third day GramSabhas held across 61 Panchayat Halqas in Pulwama ,visiting officers inaugurated various developmental works

Pulwama 28 Nov 2019: On the 3rd consecutive day of B2V2 programme visitng ooficers today attended 61 Gram Sabah’s  in 11 blocks of the district. Where visiting officers were apprised by the people about their demands and issues.

Director Rural Development Kashmir Qazi Sarwar, KAS visited  Panchayat Halqa Meej and listened to the  Various issues of public importance .He also inaugurated some the works who were taken up during B2V2 programme in June and also distributed the sporting kits among the players  . Director General Planning/Dev.Deptt. J&K, S. Billal Ahmad toured the  Panchayat halqa Konibal .Meanwhile Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, Additional Commissioner Tax Deptt, J&K visited the Panchayat Halqa Konibal where he laid foundation of various developmental works . Similarly Ghulam Dastegeer Alam, Under Secretary Finance Deptt visited  Patal Bagh.,Nisar Ahmad wani Director Tourism visited Pahoo Block Kakapora . Director Higher Education , G.M Ganie visited Achan Block Litter where he distributed job Cards . During the day locals interacted with the visiting officers and put forth their demands and issues with regard to inadequate water supply, playfields ,electricity macdamization and repairment of roads ,construction of lanes and drains ,up gradation of School, better health and improvement in power transmission lines ,repairs of damaged transformers and other Issues.

Similar functions were held in Panchayat Halqas of other  Blocks of the district . where visiting officers listned the grievances of the people and assured them that the genuine demands will be brought into the notice of administration for early redressal.  Despite bad weather gram sabhas witnessed a massive participation of locals along with PRI members in which officers sought the feedback of various ongoing developmental projects in their areas and also sensitized the participants about different welfare schemes
