Choose Sports as Career : DDC Pulwama to Youth

Make Sporting Activities   a movement all across the District .DDC

Pulwama 19 feb 2020: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer  today inaugurated District level Inter Block Panchayat Level Cricket Tournament  organized by Department of Youth Services and sports  and J&K Sports council at Sports Stadium Pulwama .

The inaugural match was played between Pulwama United  Vs Karimabad Reds. The tournament will continue till 24 February in which  12 teams from different Panchayat Halqas   are participating

While emphasizing on the importance of Sporting activities among Youth ,DDC said that Sports is emerging as career in current times He said that sporting activities lead to positivity and inculcate leadership qualities among the youth.

DDC enjoined upon the Youth sports Department to accelerate the pace of organizing such events and make Sports a movement all across the District .

A large gathering of sports enthusiasts were present on the occasion.
