DC Pulwama launches Pulse Polio Immunisation programme in Pulwama

Pulwama 19 January 2020: Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer today launched  IPPI the campaign at CMO office  where he administered a polio drops to the children.
Chief Medical Officer, Dy CMO,District Immunization Officer, Nodal Officer RBSK,Doctors and Paramedical staff were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion DC asked the concerned authorities to ensure vaccination of each and every kid under 05 year of age so that no children will be left uncovered under this programme. He said under Pulse Polio programme about 94297  children across the district will be provided oral Polio drops for which 466 Polio booths have been established in the district

Pertinently, 93 Supervisors, 1864 Health worker which include Anganwari Workers, Voluntary workers, ASHA workers have been engaged for this service to make the programme successful.
