DDC Pulwama dedicated Sanitary napkin machine to girl students.

Pulwama 10 November 2019 : District Development Commissioner Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer today dedicated a sanitary napkin machine to girl students here at Government Girls Higher Secondary Naira Pulwama.

Speaking on the occasion, DDC said that aim of  installation of this machine is  to remove the obstacles for girl students in attending schools and to do away with the social taboos.He said that the availability of Sanitary Pads at schools would improve the  hygiene at schools along with minimizing absenteeism. . He said girls should know their responsibility in educating themselves along with care for personal hygiene. He advised students say no to use of polythene and plastic as they are non bio degradable.
Utilization of this machine  by girl students would be a major contribution of students towards SBM. He added.
