DDC Pulwama reviews final arrangements for B2V2 Programme.
Pulwama 22 November 2019: District Development Commissioner Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer today chaired a meeting to review the final arrangements for Back to village Programme commence from 25th of this month.
The meeting was attended by ADC Pulwama,Tral, Awantipora , Joint Director Planning, Assistant Commissioner Development and all visiting officers.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC said that launch of the B2V2 programme is to focus on acquainting people about various developmental projects , Govt sponsored schemes and services. He said programme will also help to know the performance of administration made under Back to Village programme Phase Ist . DDC directed all visiting officers and frontline officials keep all requisite information with them to create awareness among the locals related to various schemes run by Government of J&K and Central Govt. He also directed all district and sectoral officers to ensure presence of frontline workers at their designated places .He directed line departments make close liaison with each other for making B2V2 programme a success in the district.
He further directed that the proactive participation of field level workers at Panchayat Halqas will make the governance visible at door steps and would be an unprecedented step towards changing the perception of people regarding democratic decentralization.
