DDC reviews progress on district CAPEX budget

Pulwama ,Jan 30 Jan 2020 : District Development Commissioner Pulwama ,Dr Raghav Langer  todaychaired a meeting to review progress made on various development works under CAPEX Budget (2019-20), besides implementation of centrally sponsored schemes in the district.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Tral,Joint Director Planning , Executive Engineers of PWD, PHE, PDD, CEO, DFO, EO and other district officers.

The meeting was informed that under district CAPEX budget 2019-20 an amount of Rs.2380. 89 crores have been made available and 1229.86 crores have   the  been expended till end of  December 2019 under various schemes/ developmental projects underway through different executing agencies. It was said that in Agriculture and allied sector an amount of 86.81 under regular schemes was approved wherein an amount of 41.99 crores were released and an amount of 24.36 was  expended till ending December 2019.

Similarly, in Elementary Education, SSA, Secondary Education, RMSA, Youth Services And Sports, Health, PHE, Urban Development, Nutrition and Midday meals an amount of 1497.46 crores have been released in which an amount of 875.35 crores have been expended till ending December 2019.

On the occasion, DDC directed the officers and executing agencies to ensure completion of all works within stipulated time frame days. He also stressed for regular field visits to ensure works are executed on time and under set quality parameters. He stressed upon the officers to work in coordination for achieving all the set targets on time besides gear up their men and machinery for bringing additional vibrancy in the departmental functioning.
