Education

Education is free from K.G. to University stages in our state. Considerable progress has been made in dispersion of schooling facilities through out the state especially in the Rural areas.

Education wise, according to the 2011 census, literacy rate of the district is 63.48% with 74.36% are males and 51.8% are females. The total literate population of the district is 2,93,958 including 1,78,326 are males and 1,15,632 are females.
