Massive Participation of People at Public Darbar at Achgoza

Scores of grievances redressed on spot, dozens of public darbars held all across the district in the shortest span.

PULWAMA11 February 2020: District Development Commissioner Dr Raghav Langer along with district officers todayconducted an Awami Durbar at Achgoza village to listen and speedily redress the public grievances of the people of the district

 The Durbar witnessed  an overwhelming response wherein large number of people  from Achgoza and adjoining  villages apprised the DDC  with their grievances, demands and issues of public importance.

 A delegation from Achgoza village  raised the issue  of  Uninterrupted electricity , Adequate water supply, Up-gradation of  school ,Establishment of PHC with adequate Staff , veterinary unit, separate Horticulture and Agricultural units  , and maintenance of  play ground ,replacement of poles, improvement of LT and HT Network  ,Construction of Bridge and Protection Bund on Nallah Romshi and Repairment of road from Achgoza to High school .

Another delegation of Sangerwani and  Bamnoo demanded Solar Lights ,clearance of Roads , construction of Culverts ,Disiling of Ushmal Khul,footpath bridges ,Tribal Higher Secondary School,Anganwadi Centre,Health Centre , Registration under Ayushmaan Bharat Scheme,repairment of Bamnoo- Chowan Road and replacement of water pipes in their areas .

Similarly, the residents of Lasidaban and Abhama  demanded separate  Panchayat Halqa , Construction of Bonkhah Bridge, Receiving Station, Water filtration plant, Horticulture Zone and macdamization of inner roads in their areas.On the occasion, Medical Camp was also organized by Block Medical Office Rajpora whereas  a stall was also  installed by Department of handicrafts exhibiting various articles and artifacts .

 Later, DDC distributed Golden Cards (under Ayushmaan Bharat Scheme)among various beneficiaries and Baby Kits among mothers of new born girl child under BBBP.

Responding to the demands of the people, the DDC assured that all issues  falling the domain of District Administration shall  be redressed as early as possible. While interacting with the general public DDC said that District Administration has already embarked on the wagon of public out reach programmes with an unflinching commitment .He expressed his desire that public should repose faith in Govt Institutions and avail the benefits of various flagship programmes Govt has put at the disposal of general Public .DDC added that his administration is committed towards good governance and accessibility of public services .
