Overwhelming response to live “Phone-in” programme in Pulwama Scores record their grievances

PULWAMA, JANUARY9:  District Administration Pulwama today conducted a live “Phone-in” programme here at Meeting Hall DC Office Complex Pulwama which witnessed an overwhelming response from people particularly residing in the far flung areas of the district.

During the programme, District Development Commissioner (DDC) DrRaghav Langer received the phone calls on speaker mode in presence of ADC Pulwama Altaf Ahmad Khan, ADC Tral Shabir Ahmad Raina, District Officers and other concerned officials.

On the occasion, scores of individuals registered their grievances pertaining to PDD,PHE,R&B,MC,DRDA,RDD and other departments.

The issues regarding electricity, drinking water, repairment and black topping of roads, encroachments, construction of protection bunds and other public important issues were put forth during the programme.

On the occasion DDC directed the concerned officers to take concrete steps for the redressal of grievances raised by the people. He added that each complaint should be properly recorded, tracked and followed by the concerned department to ensure time bond redressal.
