Run for Unity organized in Pulwama

Pulwama 31 Oct 2019:  In order to celebrate  birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and commemorating it as‘National Integration Day’ a  grand function was today held  at DPL Pulwama from where a race was flagged off under ‘Run for Unity’  from DPL to Post Office  by District Development Commissioner, Dr Raghav Langer . The event was organized by J&K police Pulwama in collaboration with District administration Pulwama .

SSP Pulwama Chandan Kohili , Additional Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Assistant Commissioner Revenue,  CO CRPF 182 Battlion, CRPF ,Police and other district officers  and officials participated in the “Run for Unity” .

On the occasion, the DDC highlighted the role of  Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in upholding the Indian Unity. He said the leader worked on national integration and devoted his life to the nation.He said that there should be the spirit of unification among us to ensure unity, integrity and security of the nation.
