Training prog for ROs, AROs held at Pulwama

Pulwama 14 February 2020:  In view of Panchayat By-Elections 2020  District Election Office Pulwama under the supervision of District Panchayat  Election Officer Dr  Raghav Langer  today organized a training program for Returning Officers (ROs) and Assistant returning officers (AROs) at DC office Complex  Pulwama.

 On the occasion, RO’s and AERO’s were imparted training about their role and responsibilities, nomination process, scrutiny of nomination papers ,withdrawal of candidature  ,allotment of symbols and provisions of the  model code of conduct.

DEO urged the officers to perform their duties with dedication and strictly adhere to the guidelines of ECI for the smooth conduct of Panchayat polls .He called upon the concerned officers to ensure maximum cooperation for the successful conduct of the Panchayat By-Elections and to make the election experience a better one. He enjoined upon the officers to abide by the MCC guidelines.

Among others Additional Deputy Commissioners Pulwama ,Tral ,Awantipora  ,Assistant Commissioner Revenue ,Assistant Commissioner Development, ROs and AROs and other concerned were also present.
